Oregon City Youth Football provides an experience that is not just for the players, but for the entire family. Parents are included in every aspect of our program, they are on our board and many are involved as coaches, team parents, fundraising and more. We are a community and it has always been our belief that the more families participate, the more fulfilling the experience is for their child.
Because volunteers are an essential part of making our program a success, we require that parents actively be involved with the program or with their team. Each family must volunteer at least a minimum of 4 hours per registered tackle player, and 2 hours per registered flag football player during the season, but we highly recommend that you help more if you can.
Below is just a sampling of ways you can volunteer:
If you are interested in finding out more about the volunteer opportunities contact your team parent coordinator or volunteer@oregoncityyouthfootball.com.
Did you know that your company may have a corporate volunteer/matching program that could provide even greater assistance to the Oregon City Youth Football Program?
Companies across the country are adding employee volunteer and matching programs to their corporate affairs departments. For the most part, these programs provide dollars to non-profit organizations, such as Oregon City Youth Football, where their employees volunteer their time. Amounts can range from $125 to more than $500 per volunteer. Additionally, some of these companies will also match any donation made by their employees.
Please take a moment to inquire with your Human Resources Department if your company would be willing to participate or if they already have a program in place. Here are a few examples of companies in our area with matching programs in place.
If you know of a company in our area that has this type of program in place please email us at info@oregoncityyouthfootball.com so that we may update the above list with the company's name.
